Delivery Times

Estimated delivery dates can be viewed in the cart (must set location), on the checkout page, and in order confirmation emails.

All kits are Made in U.S.A and ship from our California, Tennessee, or Maryland warehouses. All kits are Made in U.S.A and ship from our Toronto warehouse. All kits are Made in Switzerland and ship from our Amsterdam warehouse All kits are Made in Switzerland and ship from our Southampton warehouse

We do not offer expedited shipping at this time.

Shipping and Handling Fees

Shipping and handling fees can be viewed in the cart (must specify delivery address) and in checkout. Our kits are big and heavy and the shipping costs may be significant.

All orders include VAT and will not incur any additional import fees if ordering within the EU. All orders to addresses outside the EU may incur additional import fees. Any additional import fees will be collected by the carrier after your order; we do not collect the import fees. In Switzerland specifically, the import fees are normally about 25% of the order amount.

The shipping address must be a physical address (not a PO box).

Damaged or Stolen Shipments

Once we deliver your order to the carrier, we are not responsible for damage to your order or replacing your order if stolen once delivered. Please contact the carrier to file an appropriate claim.

Gifts

No logo is on the shipping box; instead, the orders are shipped in a plain brown shipping box to avoid giving away the surprise.

A packing slip may be included inside the shipping box; however, the packing slip only includes a list of items in the shipping box without any prices.

Shipping to Multiple Locations

To ship an order to multiple locations, individual orders should be submitted for each location. However, a volume discount can be applied to the combined orders if the following criteria are met…

  • Each order was placed within one hour of the first order
  • Each order is for two kits or more (single kit orders do not qualify)

If you’ve placed multiple orders that meet the criteria above, please contact us via email at help@makeafort.funhelp@makeafort.nlhelp@makeafort.co.ukhelp@makeafort.ca to receive a partial refund on the last order to price match as if a single order had been placed. Please include each order number in the request to expedite your partial refund.
